Attendance reflects an employee’s commitment to the team. In our time-sensitive, service-focused environment, punctuality is mandatory, and non-compliance can disrupt operations and affect performance

Lateness / Tardiness Policy

  • Employees must inform their Team Leader (TL) in advance if they anticipate being late.

  • The sanction for lateness will depend on the reason and may range from a verbal warning to a serious fine or termination.

  • Habitual tardiness will be treated as a recurring violation and subject to progressive disciplinary measures.

Absence Policy

A. Absence Due to Illness

  • A Medical Certificate (MC) and Official Receipt (OR) must be submitted for absences caused by illness.

  • If a medical certificate cannot be provided:

    • Inform your TL at least one (1) hour before prior to your shift.

B. Planned Absences Employees are expected to provide advance notice for any planned absences, such as medical appointments, personal matters, or other scheduled commitments. Supporting documentation may be required when applicable.

  • For medical appointments, personal matters, or other planned absences, advance notice and supporting documentation (if applicable) must be provided.

  • Inform your Team Leader (TL) at least two (2) hours prior to the start of your shift.

C. Absence Restrictions (“No Combo” Rule)

  • The following combinations are not allowed:

    • Off–Absent

    • Absent–Off

    • Leave–Absent

    • Salary Day–Absent

D. Excessive Absences

  • Frequent absences will result in disciplinary action, including warnings or more serious sanctions.

  • Open communication with your TL regarding attendance concerns is strongly encouraged to allow for better understanding and possible support.

Emergency Absences

  • Sanctions will vary depending on the reason provided, ranging from a verbal warning to a serious fine or termination.

  • In unavoidable situations or emergencies, employees must follow steps 1, 2, and 3 in the Attendance Reporting Procedure.

AWOL (Absent Without Leave) Policy

  • No reason will be accepted for unreported absences without prior approval.

  • Repeated AWOL incidents will result in severe disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination.

  • Employees must notify their TL or supervisor as soon as possible if they cannot attend work, providing relevant details.

All employees are required to log in and start their duty 15 minutes before their working schedule.
